Are all of your outdoor rugs made from the same materials?

I put my outdoor rug on my deck - where it is exposed to elements, rain, sun, etc. Last year I had an "outdoor rug" that had some natural fibers in it - and we had small bugs that would make their home there (resulting in small bites on bare feet!) I want to be certain that the outdoor rug I buy is the best for resisting mold or other problems resulting from moisture. Can you make a recommendation? I think a plasticky-weave would be best - but I'm not sure about polypropelyne? What that is, and how well it does with exposure to elements?
