I bought this bed a while ago, but in a solid color. I saw this one and fell in love with it, but was a little nervous that it would end up looking cheap and not so elegant as the picture. Boy was I wrong!! This bed is exactly how it's shown in the picture, even better!!! My dog got so excited when we pulled the bed out of the box!! And for those that have purchase the one in solid colors, this is the exact same fabric! Very comfy and SOFT! This bed really makes a statement! and perfect for a decorative room!

This is truly the best dog bed out there. My dog loves it!! Traditional beds, found at a local pet store, are not as full on the inside and the dog ends up sleeping feeling the roughness of the floor. With this one, I can even sit down in it and I never feel the hard floor. My dog weights 13 lbs and is about 36 inches long, and for him the Medium it's just perfect. This bed is durable and it stretches with the dog's sleeping position, so it's not as rough, but soft.

I have a Golden Retriever puppy who loves to chew. Would this bed hold up to chewing?
It depends, some puppies prefer chewing harder things to get rid of the pain or discomfort of teething. If you believe your dog is biting pillows, clothes, and other softer stuff, then I would wait until he gets a little bigger, and doesn't have the necessity to chew. Also buy him chewing toys that will distract him from chewing other things (they are made of a soft plastic that won't be easy to break, so it's safe) This bed is very durable (resistant & the fabric doesn't get ugly or the color doesn't fade with time), but can be sensitive for your situation. Puppy teeth are usually very sharp and can easily tear this bed. Another option is to buy it, and if you see him interested in chewing the bed, take it away, and store it for later. Finally, some dogs usually, do not destroy their OWN bed, because they know is where they sleep and rest! Overall I do recommend this bed for any dog!! Totally worth it!

What color is it showing with dog on it grey or sage?
If you are talking about the cover photo right know, with the name Jasper on the pillow. I'm pretty sure is the Sage color! You can see the writing on the pillow looks more sage than grey.

is it possible to get a new cover for this bed
I purchased this bed over a year ago and the zipper is broken. I was wondering if it would be possible to only purchase the cover
You would have to contact Frontgate via phone. They are extremely nice, I think they can have a solution for you. However, since it has been over a year, I found it difficult that they will send you a new one. However, you can go to the product link and maybe order the Nano-Tex Cover for Comfy Couch, it's just a cover for the original piece (pillow) in the couch.The zipper is no big issue you can also go to a local dressmaker, and have them fix it for you maybe with a new zipper.
