These are beautiful picks that are really nice to work with - very flexible. Only minor thing is that the gluing of the rhinestones and glitter is not completely uniform. But they look terrific.
Pros: Appearance, Quality

Do the picks shed glitter or flakes of finish? Where are they made? Given the price, I'm interested in what makes them so valuable?

They make a HUGE mess and appear very cheaply made. They look nice - but they're a bear to work with. The branches don't bend in a natural way and by the time I was finished, I was covered in glitter. Sections of the mirrored "leaves" fall off quite easily. I was attempting to use them as a base for my mantle decor. I'll try sticking a few into floral foam for a vertical backdrop that doesn't require any shaping to see if they fare any better. Just have to be careful because of all the fall-off with pets. I would highly recommend the acanthus leaves in both sizes - they're beautiful and very flexible.
