I purchased 4 of the swags and received them yesterday. I opened the boxes & was amazed at how lovely they are, the picture does not do them justice! The are absolutely gorgeous in person! The berries are large and the color is perfect. They are lush and the accents stand out much more. Their is a traditional, old fashioned wide green satin ribbon for hanging. The size is perfect for my windows which are 36in wide. They Iook perfect on my home I have a large colonial and the size & amount of lights are just right! We love them and will definely order more.

Should the Clasic Window Swag sit on the outside window ledge or hang over the ledge?
They would look lovely either way. I do not have a large window ledge outside on my windows on the second level and I also wanted to expand the length of the window visually so I hung them so they span beneath the window & some of the greens peak above the bottom sash. It is a beautiful swag and would be a gorgeous accent either way.

what does the cord on these look like? Flat or round?
The cords is the typical Christmas light cord with the twisted 3 strands.

How do you affix the swags? Our windows don't open, will that work?
They have a lovely 2-3in green ribbon attached for hanging that you could attach to the outside of your home. The ribbon is attached at the ends forming a nice loop.
