I ordered 3 of these wreaths to replace the old ones I'd had for years. I liked their appearance, the battery operation and the hanging loops. These arrived packaged individually and with instructions. Each wreath came with it's own hanging loop and candle. The wreaths required some "fluffing" out of the box which is to be expected. One of the wreaths had a broken pine cone from being packed too tightly. I found overall that each of these were very nice, but I was unable to achieve the fuller look in the photo. One of the hanging loops came unsewn the minute I picked up the wreath. The other 2 were secure. The candle functions extremely well and the timing feature has been spot on. We even had one fall in a massive rainstorm and after drying out the candle it works perfectly. These wreaths are nice and full, but they don't quite capture the same look as the photo; despite my spending 20 minutes per wreath to attempt to recreate it. I would have given them 5 stars if I hadn't had the hanging loop problem, and if the fullness of the photo was achievable by the average individual.

Does the red hanging sash come with these? What's the best way to hang these on outdoor windows?
The red hanging sash does come with these wreaths. Traditionally these are mounted by a nail over the top of the wood window mantle. In new, more modern homes, this is a bit more tricky. We have no window mantles, a brick facade and vinyl windows. Aside from nailing into the mortar there was no reasonable way for us to utilize the hanging loops. We toyed with the idea of using tape or other secure means to tape the loop above the suction cups we used to hang them on the windows and, in the end, removed the loops. The loops have a traditional look to them and are lovely, as well as proper length for a standard size window. They are only useful if you have a mantle over your window. These could be hung on a door or from a wreath hanger without problems.

can this wreath be hung where both sides can be seen?
The back side of this wreath is not suitable for viewing. The entire construction of the wreath can be seen from the rear. I can see them through my window blinds and that is okay with me. I wouldn't place one in a wall opening inside my home though. They are designed to be viewed from the front only.

Yes, they are durable for outside use.

With respect to the 6-hour timer: do you set it once for the "season," or must you set it each day?
I'm thinking off hanging the wreaths on the outside of some second-story windows and it would be great if I could set the timer to come on every day at the same time.
You can set them once for the season. We set our for 5:45 and they come on right on time. No problem there.
