I've been looking for a desk phone for my home office. Having owned a couple of excellent Siemens cordless phone I expected this phone to exhibit the same quality and functionality - and it does. The design is simple enough, but the functionality of the phone is both good and bad. This much capability comes at a price: complexity. You'll need to spend some time getting familiar with the depth of settings available both from the phone and via the web interface. But if you're reasonably technically inclined, and if you appreciate those "wow, it can do that?!" moments in a humble phone, I think you'll like this phone. It probably does more than you'll ever need (seriously, who is going to add calendar events to their phone!), but there are lots of very useful functions. There are just too many capabilities to list, but I will mention that the free worldwide calls between Siemens phones is pretty nifty... provided you know someone else with a Siemens phone. I may need to gift a few to my family oversees.

If I have two normal phone lines in my home through ATT (I believe they are analog), I want to confirm that only 1 line will work with this phone?
I am looking for a good home office speakerphone that will do the call waiting and voicemail, but would like to also have the ability to connect to the home phone line also. From the description it says that it takes only one analog line and the others need to be the other types of lines. Most new homes do not have the VIOP Options.
This phone only supports ONE landline (POTS).
In my opinion, the speakerphone is very clear and loud. People on the other end say I come through loud and clear.
The phone does support Call Waiting (flash to switch).
The phone supports both phone company provided voicemail service and has an internal voicemail system with three mailboxes.
You can configure up to SIX VoIP services on this phone.
You also have the option to connect your mobile phone via Bluetooth such that incoming mobile calls ring to this phone. You can also place outgoing calls from the phone via your mobile.
Siemens provides a free worldwide built-in VoIP service that requires no configuration - just plug-in to LAN and it works. This service only works between Siemens phones.

Is the base set wall mountable?
Does the base component come with a wall mount piece or have hooks built in for wall mounting
No, this phone cannot be wall mounted. The handset component would slide out of the cradle if placed vertically.
