For pet owners who want a stylish alternative to baby gates, this is it. Even the smallest dog or puppy can't get through and the walk thru gate makes it safe for all. Looks good in my room too! Best pet product I've bought in a long time
Pros: Appearance, Durability, Quality

I want to use this gate at the top of the stairs, has anyone used at top of stairs without wall for it to lean against?

If using it for a pet it should be fine, it is free standing and very sturdy. Not sure I would use it for a child.
