We've found we like to have a large clock in the pool area so you can see it without getting out of the water. A thermometer on the same clock face is a real bonus. When our old one finally gave up, we knew we had to have another large face clock at the pool. This one really looks nice and gets compliments at pool parties.

Rust-proof
It says "weather-resistant". What about rust-resistant?
It is sealed pretty well. The only place it could rust would be where the hands come together and/or are connected to the mechanism., and that would only happen over a long period of time. I had many years from a clock similar to this before it got any rust.

What is the "face" of the clock made of, where the temperature and humidity #'s are printed? Is it paper?
It is not paper. It is a thick plastic.
