What is the backing on this mat?

I need an outdoor front entry mat that will not hold water when it rains. Does this mat have some time of backing to help with drainage? The last mat I ordered from FG stayed wet all the time and never dried out.
It is polycrylic weave, the look of burlap, but cream color. I think it would take days to dry out because it is so plush. I put it inside my door when weather is due, then people can wipe feet once they are inside. It stays perfect. I love it. But I also have a covered porch.

Could you tell me what the thickness of this entry rug is?

I'm looking for a outdoor rug with a substancial thickness but do not want a coco type mat. I am interested in the thickness on the Berkeley mat as well.
It is as lush an outdoor rug as I have ever seen - I hate coco - I get the coco bits all through my house. I pull the rug in as an indoor welcome mat during rain or snow and it is on a covered proch so the thickness is nice...but if it were exposed, I expect it would get and stay too wet because it is so thick. My monogrammed letter was not done well so I had to order a replacment but I am thrilled with how it looks - worried the black will fade.
