The concept is great, but it does not work. Initially the hose is awesome, but after a few weeks - the rewind is not consistent and the hose starts to bunch up on one side. You can take the flimsy top cover off (well the cover doesn't stay on too well anyway!) and try to guide it as it is rewinding. But ultimately the hose gets permanently stuck under the winding mechanism and then it can't be retracted or pulled out. I initially bought two of these hoses. Frontgate replaced one. Now I have three broken ones with a short length of hose coming out of the mechanism that doesn't budge.
Pros: Appearance
Cons: Quality, Durability

is there a wheel lock for this unit so it does not roll around while you are trying to use it?

No - there is not a wheel lock but it doesn't need one. It stays in place when you are using it.
